Message from Ed Strickland

To all of our valued customers, acquaintances and friends I would like to take just a few minutes to share a few of things that have been happening in and around Tile Crafter's over the past several months.

As some of you know this past June ,myself and my two sons Dale and Josh went and served on a mission's trip to New York / Carpenters for Christ through Colonial Baptist Church to the Transformation Life Center www.tlc911.org , with the help from my vendors ( who supplied ALL the materials as well as some labor ) and all those on the trip we were able to make some life changes in both ourselves and those we touched in New York. This is a great organization please take a few minutes and pull up the site and look at it.

All this said, this past month I was in San Antonio Tx, for our annual National Tile Contractors Association meetings and much to my surprise I was honored by the NTCA for the "Best Practices Award" for Community Service in 2009 in recognition for my services on the NYC Mission Trip. I would like to thank all those who participated with me in this project and it was most definitely a "partnership".I am and was truly honored.

Also , while in San Antonio , I was also recognized for having served my second 2 year term on the Board of Directors. This was a great opportunity for me to give back to the industry that I love. It has been amazing serve alongside some of the tile industries most influential folks and to learn from the as well as being a part of shaping the future of our industry. I will remain active in the NTCA as I have been appointed to the Technical Committee , which is made up of the tile industries brightest individuals that come from all facets of the business, including labor, manufacturers of tile as well as setting materials , ANSI and TCNA. I am also serving on the standard and methods committee as well.

Also over the summer ALL of our tile mechanics completed the course and are now CTEF certified . These men have and do strive to be the best available. With the economy as it is we feel that now more than ever it is very important to provide for our customers the best for their dollar. We are confident that we can and will provide our clients both builder and individuals with the best quality and service by using the best installation products made, the finest and educated employees in the Triangle Area with the best installation around hands down.

Thank you for taking the time to read about our happenings around Tile Crafters. And our thanks go out to each of you who we currently work with / have worked with in the past / and may work with in the future for helping us to be the best we can be by working along some of the finest people in our trades and community.

God's Blessings to each of you,

Ed Strickland
